Re:       School Conditions Survey

 

Lockhart Elementary would like to ask each parent, child and staff to respond to the School Conditions Survey. The School Conditions Survey focuses on the practical issues affecting schools and also measures perceptions from teachers, students and parents in several areas ranging from facilities to supplies to behavior and is available to parents and students in Spanish and English and to the staff in English. In the past, a paper and pencil survey was sent home to parents and a bubble sheet was filled out. This year, in order to provide immediate feedback and easier accessibility, all surveys have been placed on-line. The surveys are available on any computer which has Internet capability. Places where it can be commonly accessed include, but are not limited to, home computers, public libraries, Internet café’s, wireless laptops and school computers. The survey responses are anonymous and not traceable. Participants can complete the survey without concern that their responses will be linked back to themselves. The window for accessing the survey will be open from January 7th through January 18th, at which time the survey will be closed. It should only take about 5-10 minutes to complete the survey.
